Dr. David Gilmer is a native of Bloomington, Minnesota. He attended St. Olaf College where he received degrees in Biology and Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University of Minnesota. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Southeastern District Dental Society. He is currently on the Winona County Health Advisory Committee. Always wanting to live in a smaller town, Dr. Gilmer and his wife Katherine moved to Winona in 2005. They love the natural beauty of the area and the diversity of activities available. Dr. Gilmer played soccer at St. Olaf College but now enjoys running, biking, skiing, hunting, fishing, and golfing. More than anything, however, he enjoys spending time with his 1-year-old daughter, Anna. |

Dr. Paul Himmler was born and raised in South Minneapolis. After a 4-year enlistment in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, he finished college at California State University at Hayward. He then attended the University of California, San Francisco Dental School where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). Following a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center he and his family moved to Winona in 1988. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Southeastern District Dental Society. Dr. Himmler has been married to Krystal, who is a jewelry maker, for 30 years and they have two children, Grant and Kirsten. Away from dentistry, he is an avid golfer and enjoys woodworking. |
